Objectives

FEUZ has been managing various types of European projects since 1991 (COMETT, LEONARDO DA VINCI, ...) and has managed approximately 2,200 mobilities. It was awarded with the Quality Award 2008 for the management of the Leonardo da Vinci mobility project for university students in 2006 and finalist in 2006 for the 2004 project. Since 2007, FEUZ has also been coordinating the University of Zaragoza (UZ) student internships. The ultimate AIM of the project is to integrate recent graduates of the organisations that make up the consortium (University of Zaragoza and higher education institutions) into the world of work through the host organisations involved, as well as to support initial vocational training by improving cooperation between the university and the company and fostering the European identity of the participants. The participants who finally completed the mobility (6) have had the opportunity to put into practice all their theoretical knowledge while learning new aspects thatare very useful for their professional future and increase their employability. The internships have helped the graduates to get in touch with the labour market, adapting the know-how acquired during their studies to the new technologies and methodologies applied in the host companies and organisations: Hospitals and veterinary clinics, and organisations: hospitals and veterinary clinics, research centres, schools, art galleries and other types of companies and professional offices.
