Objectives

Supporting VIU’s Internationalization Strategy The Erasmus+ program facilitates the internationalization of both students and staff, while strengthening collaboration with new and existing partner organizations. Erasmus+ supports VIU in fostering collaborations with other higher education institutions. In this Erasmus+ program period (2021–27), inter-institutional agreements are being extended to non-European countries in Latin America, Asia, and Africa. The mobilities carried out within this project are supporting the development of collaborations with universities that, in the medium term, will work together with VIU on KA171 projects. Enhancing Students’ and Staff’s Competences VIU’s internationalization strategy aims to help students and staff improve their competences and skills, while promoting greater mental health and well-being in inclusive environments that encourage participation for all. The goal is to foster a culture that is more sensitive to ecological and social challenges, addressing them collectively. Erasmus+ mobilities enrich the curricula of both staff and students, providing them with better tools for their personal and professional growth. Thanks to the Erasmus+ program, VIU regularly welcomes students, professors, and training staff from other universities. As a result, it has become common for the VIU community to share learning and working spaces, both physical and virtual, with people of diverse nationalities, enriching the overall educational experience.
