The main intention of this center in developing the Erasmus+ project is to help internationalize education in a as unique as this one, which is based on the professional fields of hospitality and tourism. In addition, we aim to: - Offer constant modernization and improvement in the teachings we provide. - Facilitate for students and staff (both teaching and non-teaching) in Higher Education the possibility of expanding their knowledge and professional experience through work-related activities in companies within the sector in the sphere. - Help increase language proficiency. - Enable cultural immersion in other destinations with multiple opportunities. Both our Tourism students (divided into the Higher Vocational Training cycles for Travel Agencies and Management, Accommodation Management, and Tourist Guides, Information and Assistance) and our Hospitality students (divided into the cycles for Kitchen Management and Restaurant Services), with a markedly entrepreneurial spirit, need this program to have the opportunity to train abroad to reinforce their language skills and immerse themselves in destinations with multiple opportunities in both productive sectors, thereby enabling them to develop both personally and professionally. The characteristics of the education provided at this center make the Erasmus program an important source of motivation. We want to give our participants the opportunity to have an international learning and maturation experience in which they can improve their professional skills in Europe. We aim to achieve European awareness as one of the main objectives of the project, without forgetting the boost to self-esteem and personal recognition that these students have the opportunity to experience. We consider social inclusion one of our key pillars, offering the Erasmus program to all interested individuals, avoiding any form of discrimination. The idea is to make our students aware that "everything is possible for everyone" and to help them overcome any obstacles they may face, whether socio-economic, cultural differences, disability, etc. Each academic year we have more participants with one or more of these circumstances, achieving very satisfactory results. Our objective could well be summed up in the motto: “enriching lives, opening minds.” To achieve all this, we have a series of contacts abroad and we strive to provide students with companies in the sector located in European Union countries that allow them to learn international procedures as well as the possibility to adapt to a different culture that will provide them with a diversity of learning opportunities. Our list of foreign companies is increasingly extensive, covering all sectors of our professional field, from accommodation—mainly hotels—to travel agencies and management, the world of guides, information providers, and tourist assistants, as well as the food service subsector, covering both the kitchen and dining areas. Our goal is to continue expanding this network. The has held the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) since 2013, the year from which we have placed greater emphasis on promoting and disseminating scholarships for both students and staff. It is the of Vocational Training in Hospitality and Tourism with the most students in the Community of Madrid, with more than 1,200 enrollments each academic year and nearly 85 teachers at present, along with almost 30 administrative and service personnel, forming a large educational community. In addition, it is the that has been most dedicated to training exclusively in this professional field for the longest time. This academic year marks the 65th class of graduates. We have a very active Alumni Association that organizes important activities and manages internationally. This association includes former students of international renown who collaborate with us. Furthermore, this project in the current call is a continuation of previous projects, always developed with seriousness and responsibility, maintaining the number of scholarships we have been managing both for students and for teaching and non-teaching staff.
