Objectives

With this Erasmus project, at the San Telmo School of Art and Advanced Design, after emerging from the restrictions of the pandemic, we hoped to achieve an improvement in the quality of education through the mobility of our students and staff, to acquire new skills (linguistic, digital and professional), exchanging good pedagogical practices in training in the arts, crafts and design, fostering creativity and innovation, international cooperation between artistic centers, attracting foreign students and teachers that would allow us to transfer knowledge, and broadening the cultural and professional vision of all. For art and design students: • Development of artistic and technical competencies: Acquire new knowledge and skills in artistic techniques or pedagogical approaches from other countries. • Improve language and cultural competence: Learn and perfect a foreign language while living in another country, broadening your worldview and understanding of other cultures. • Professional and personal experience: Internships in different artistic environments, meet new professionals and clients, and develop independence and responsibility. • Expand your network: Meet other students, artists, and industry professionals internationally. For teaching and administrative staff: • Improving teaching and innovation: Sharing knowledge and experiences, learning from the pedagogical practices of other institutions, and developing new content and teaching methods. • Cooperation and liaison between institutions: Establishing long-term collaborations with art institutions in other countries, facilitating mobility and exchange. • Internationalization of the institution: Boosting the institution's openness to international artistic approaches and methodologies, and improving the quality of work with students and interns. • Professional and digital development: Improving digital skills and receiving training to use digital e-learning tools.
