Our school set itself the fundamental objective of offering the educational community an international professional experience that would enrich their technical, personal and cultural training. We hoped to achieve the following goals: Improve the professional qualification of the students, allowing them to carry out internships in European companies in the tourism and hospitality sector, where they could apply their knowledge in real and demanding contexts. It has helped us to update our knowledge of current trends in the sector, both technologically and in terms of quality and sustainability in tourism services. Reinforce the European dimension of the centre, acting as dynamic agents of the internationalisation process. Improving and reinforcing European awareness, diversity and multiculturalism. Contributing to reduce xenophobic or discriminatory effects. To develop key transversal skills, such as effective communication, problem solving, teamwork, and customer service in multicultural environments. To boost the employability of participants, providing them with an international experience that is highly valued by the tourism sector and that differentiates them in the labour market. To promote the learning of foreign languages, especially English and/or the language of the host country, as a fundamental tool in the field of tourism. To raise students' awareness of cultural diversity and European quality standards in customer service and tourism management. To establish lasting relationships with companies and institutions in the sector in other countries, extending our European cooperation network and strengthening the international profile of the centre. It has been a valuable professional development opportunity for the teaching staff.
