The XABEC Vocational Training Center aimed to continue its internationalization strategic plan through the implementation of a mobility for work placements in higher education, consolidating high-quality mobilities with partners with whom there was an existing relationship, and promoting the Erasmus principles by involving the participant in complementary activities that reinforced them. The main objective was to offer a second-year Higher Level student the opportunity to complete the Work Placement Module (FCT) in a company in a European country. This sought to enable the student to: Consolidate their training in industrial maintenance through the practical application of their knowledge in a European work environment. Develop technical skills related to sustainability, energy efficiency, and the integration of new technologies. Enhance key transversal skills, such as communication in English, teamwork, adaptability to different contexts, and the improvement of autonomy.
