The Erasmus+ project developed at IES Rodrigo Caro has pursued a series of strategic objectives, aimed at both the individual development of participants and the institutional strengthening of the center. Among the main purposes are: To provide students in higher vocational training with the opportunity to undertake their Workplace Training (FCT) abroad, enabling them to acquire professional skills in international environments, as well as practical skills that would be difficult to develop in a local context. Improving job placement opportunities, as work experience in another European country is highly valued by companies, as it implies knowledge of other markets, autonomy, initiative, and the ability to work in diverse contexts. Enhance participants' language skills by promoting the use of foreign languages in real work and social situations, which contributes to improving their employability and ability to adapt to multicultural environments. Promote the internationalization of the educational center, strengthening its presence in European vocational training networks and generating links with foreign institutions that enrich the training offer and the pedagogical vision of the teaching team. Incorporate new methodologies and psycho-pedagogical approaches through the mobility of teaching staff, which has allowed them to observe and adapt good educational practices applied in other countries, integrating them into the dynamics of the center to improve the quality of teaching. Fostering a sense of European citizenship and awareness of common values, promoting greater awareness among participants of cultural diversity, international cooperation, and the role of the European Union in the educational and professional spheres.
