Objectives

This project implemented an Erasmus+ Vocational Training Staff Mobility program at the Emérita Augusta Institute in Mérida. The teachers in charge of this project belong to different departments: - Electricity and Electronics - Energy and Water - Training and Career Guidance This mobility program coincided with another mobility project to allow for the participation of one teacher per professional group. The mobility program was to the city of Avezzano, a municipality located in the province of L'Aquila, in Abruzzo, central Italy. The objectives of this program were: - To understand how the dual-language version of the vocational training system implemented in Italy works, using Abruzzo as a reference, the region to be visited. The program also analyzed the differences in the implementation of this system in Italy and other neighboring countries in the European Union. - Observation and knowledge of other educational systems, specifically in the Abruzzo region. - Comparison of the functioning and organization of public and private vocational training centers outside of Spain and within the EU. - Analyze how companies in the automotive, telecommunications, and energy efficiency and renewable energy sectors are managed in the Abruzzo region, and identify the differences with Spanish companies in these sectors. - Contact some organizations responsible for facilitating our students' future mobility programs with companies in the aforementioned sectors located in Italy, the target country of the mobility, specifically the area visited by the teachers. - Learn about other working methods in companies outside of Spain and within the EU. - Acquire foreign language skills and increase awareness of other cultures and countries. These types of mobility projects achieve: - Students pursuing Vocational Training courses can undertake mobility projects aimed at internships in companies in other EU countries. - Teachers broaden their understanding of the organization and operation of companies, the sectors in which they teach, and other EU countries, serving as a link between the aforementioned companies and students pursuing Vocational Training courses. - Teachers become aware of the importance of Dual Vocational Training and see the advantages this system offers for students. - Occasionally, students participating in mobility programs improve their job placement, not only in the Spanish labor market but also in other EU member countries. On the other hand, we must not forget that our institution has a Quality Assurance program, which requires the entire educational community to implement all possible actions aimed at improving the training of students pursuing these types of courses and facilitating their job placement.
