Based on project 2023-1-ES01-KA131-HED-000117395, the Institut d’Horticultura i Jardineria aims to advance its internationalization process, improving both the quality of mobilities and the internal management of the program. This project has taken place in a context of transition, with a change in the Erasmus+ coordination team at the center, which provided an opportunity to review and enhance aspects highlighted in previous project reports. One of the main objectives was to respond effectively to the priorities of the Erasmus+ program and the Spanish National Agency (SEPIE), focusing on improving students’ professional skills, promoting inclusion, sustainability and digitalization, ensuring high-quality implementation, and strengthening international strategic partnerships. It was also a priority to guarantee participant satisfaction by offering long-term internships that would have a real impact on their training, personal growth, and future employability. For the center, it was essential that students experience a meaningful and well-supported stay, aligned with their academic profile and the educational values of our institution. Another goal was to improve the quality-management process linked to the program, in line with the center’s ISO 9001 certification, by generating specific documents and records. An essential objective was to adjust project implementation to the granted budget, applying criteria of efficiency and resource optimization. Planning the mobilities had to take into account both financial availability and the feasibility of destinations, prioritizing high-quality professional environments and reliable partners. The project award also implied establishing and consolidating long-term collaborative relationships with entities across Europe. In this regard, it was important to strengthen strategic contact with the Instituto Superior de Agronomía (ISA) in Lisbon, which has hosted our students for internships in previous years. Finally, the implementation of this project was intended to serve as a foundation for reinforcing the center’s Erasmus+ structure, consolidating procedures, involving the teaching staff, fostering a culture of European openness among students, and increasing visibility through social media.
