The objective of the project is to contribute to the international mobility of students and faculty at the Escola Superior de Comerç Internacional (ESCI-UPF) from now on, as part of their official studies for students, and for faculty, to facilitate their training with partner universities, as well as contribute to the development of joint academic programs and other inter-institutional academic cooperation projects. From a strictly academic perspective, international student mobility allows students to study at another university outside their home country, taking courses/subjects different from those available at their home institution, learning about another university education system, and improving their foreign language skills. At ESCI-UPF, we believe that studying abroad allows students not only to take different subjects, but also subjects with different approaches, methodologies, and perspectives that broaden the general and specific skills they must acquire during their studies. Regarding student mobility for internships, international mobility allows students to develop entrepreneurial and creative skills highly valued by future employers, improve foreign language skills and interpersonal and intercultural teamwork skills, as well as enhance their understanding of another country and its culture. In turn, the internship program offers benefits for employers, such as offering a new international perspective to the company, providing innovative ideas and active support, inspiring new enthusiasm and greater competitiveness and innovation, and expanding the business. At the same time, the student learns from the employees, and employees can also learn from an international intern through interaction with different languages and updated digital skills. From a more personal perspective for students, facilitating international mobility processes allows them to live in another society, acquire an open mindset regarding differences, get to know another country, and make new friends and contacts. In other words, it facilitates the acquisition and development of the "soft skills" necessary for coexistence in a multicultural society. Regarding staff mobility for teaching, this mobility allows participants to share their specialized knowledge, experience new teaching environments, acquire new pedagogical and innovative curriculum design skills, connect with their counterparts abroad to develop common activities, as well as exchange best practices and strengthen cooperation between institutions. Finally, these mobility programs also help better prepare students for the future workforce. Finally, staff mobility for training allows participating staff to train abroad through training sessions or job shadowing. This allows them to acquire new skills, share experiences, and connect with their peers to share lessons learned and success stories. Finally, these mobility programs also improve participants' foreign language skills and interpersonal and intercultural teamwork skills, as well as enhance their understanding of another country and its culture.
