Objectives

The CIFP Emilio Campuzano LHII participates in Erasmus programs since 2003, mainly developing student mobilities (higher vocational education and training) and for teachers to practice and perfecting their skills. This project aimed to continue advancing towards key goals and objectives outlined in our Erasmus Plan. Firstly, we have continued working to consolidate an internationalisation strategy aligned with the principles established in our Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), seeking to achieve a tangible and measurable impact both on the skills development of our students and on the improvement of teaching quality and institutional performance. Within this framework, we aimed to provide our higher education students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in a European context, thereby enhancing their employability, personal autonomy, ability to adapt to multicultural environments, and academic and professional motivation. We also sought to promote the learning of foreign languages, which significantly contributes to strengthening their sense of belonging to an active, critical, and engaged European citizenship. As for our teaching staff, the project aimed to reinforce their professional development by enabling training stays in European educational institutions, where they were able to engage in job-shadowing activities focused on the direct observation of good educational practices. These experiences allowed them to assimilate new pedagogical approaches and innovative methodologies. The training activities also helped strengthen strategic ties with European partners who are open to continuing and consolidating cooperation. In this way, the project fostered the creation of professional networks at the European level, which have had a very positive impact on the organisational and academic improvement of our institution. Like our previous projects, this initiative also addressed several transversal objectives aligned with the strategic priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme, including: - Inclusion and diversity, by facilitating the participation of students with fewer opportunities and promoting accessible learning environments. - Environmental sustainability, by encouraging the use of green transportation and raising awareness about sustainable practices. - Digital education, through the use of digital tools and collaborative platforms during the preparation, mobility, and follow-up phases. - Active citizenship, by strengthening the sense of belonging to the European community. We can affirm that this project has made a significant contribution to improving the educational quality of our institution, promoting the European dimension of our curricular programme and the educational pathway of our students and staff, while simultaneously increasing the international projection of our school and fostering an open, modern, sustainable, and cohesive organisational culture in alignment with the European Higher Education Area.
