The Erasmus+ mobility project developed by our university was designed with a series of strategic objectives that respond both to the priorities of the European programme and to the lines of action of our institution and the alliances of which we are a part: European University of Technology (European Universities programme); the ‘Campus Mare Nostrum 37/38’ (seal of International Excellence) together with research centres, public administrations, international organisations, technology parks, local and regional companies, and the UP4 association of public polytechnic universities in the country. All these networks provide an opportunity to improve individual skills, generate knowledge together with partners from Europe and third countries, integrate talent into the university community and develop their international skills, as the basic objectives of this project. In detail, the first aim was to promote the mobility of students, teaching and research staff, and technical management and service administration staff. Through these experiences, the aim was to strengthen the linguistic, intercultural and digital skills of the participants, contributing to their personal and professional development and improving their employability in a global context. Similarly, the aim was to consolidate and expand the international collaboration network, particularly strengthening the strategic alliances established within the EUt+ framework and generating new opportunities for academic, research and innovation cooperation with the alliance's partner institutions. In this way, the Erasmus+ project was conceived not only as a tool to support individual mobility, but also as a key instrument for advancing the structural integration of the university within the EUt+ consortium. Another fundamental objective was to guarantee equal opportunities in access to mobility, paying special attention to the participation of under-represented groups, in order to move towards greater inclusion and equity in higher education. Finally, it was proposed that the mobility experience should have a positive impact on the institution as a whole, through the modernisation of curricula, the incorporation of international best practices and the improvement of teaching and research quality, contributing to the university's European and international profile and consolidating its role within the European University of Technology.
