The project was carried out with the purpose of contributing to achieving the strategic objectives of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) in terms of internationalization and the improvement of academic and institutional quality. The analysis of its implementation and results makes it possible to assess the extent to which the expected objectives were achieved, both at the institutional and individual levels. As a priority, the UMH established the consolidation of internationalization as a cross-cutting axis of its strategic plan, with the aim of strengthening its position in teaching, research, and knowledge transfer. Participation in the Erasmus+ program has been conceived as a key mechanism to expand cooperation networks, diversify partnerships within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), enhance international projection, and promote mobility beyond this area. Likewise, the project was expected to ensure that mobility represented an enriching educational and professional experience for all beneficiaries. Specifically, the expected effects on students focused on fostering their academic, personal, and professional development, increasing their employability, and improving their positioning in the labor market. Regarding teaching faculty and research staff (PDI) in addition to technical, management, administrative, and service staff (PTGAS), participation in the program was aimed at facilitating the acquisition and refinement of innovative teaching methodologies, as well as the transfer of good practices, in order to optimize the efficiency and quality of university services. Overall, the project objectives have been aligned with the quality criteria defined by the UMH, using the Erasmus+ program as a lever for institutional, social, and cultural transformation. In this way, international mobility has been consolidated not only as an opportunity for individual growth but also as a driver of structural strengthening of the university and its role within the European and international framework of higher education.
