Objectives

As an educational centre offering Higher Level Vocational Training Courses, our priority, as stated in our ECHE, is to offer students the best possible opportunities to enter the job market. An internship at the end of their second year, which is an integral part of the curriculum, greatly contributes to this. The Erasmus+ mobility programme for internships offers us in addition to work experience, an opportunity for great personal enrichment for participants because many more aspects come into play than just professional ones: personal growth and maturity (for most of our students, this is the first time they have lived away from home), development of social skills (they have to meet new people and learn to live and work with them), practice of other languages, broadening of European awareness, etc. We also hope to ensure that all students interested in the experience can access mobility regardless of their financial resources, as has been the case with one student in this programme, who has received additional support from Erasmus+ because she was previously a Basque Government scholarship holder and was already aided by our school’s fee exemption. In this way we, as a school, try to contribute as much as possible to inclusion, one of the programme's fundamental priorities.
