The implementation of the Erasmus+ project was conceived as a key opportunity for the internationalization of our educational center and, more specifically, to promote the acquisition of new and innovative competencies by our teaching staff, within a European context of pedagogical exchange. Participation in training and observation mobilities (job shadowing) allows us to deepen our understanding of good educational practices, innovative pedagogical systems, and support mechanisms for students, both in their learning process and in their personal and professional development. As part of this project, three distinct job shadowing mobilities were carried out. The first was to Milan (Italy), undertaken by two school principals; the second to Dunajská Streda (Slovakia), carried out by two vocational training teachers; and the third to Stuttgart (Germany), to a teacher training institution. Each experience focused on complementary objectives but shared a common goal: to improve the educational quality of our center through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices with other European institutions. 1. First Mobility: SCUOLA DI FORMAZIONE, Milan (Italy) Participants: School Principal Head Principal Objectives of the mobility: This mobility aimed at the direct observation of pedagogical methodologies applied in an Italian school with a strong focus on vocational education and educational innovation. The areas of observation and focus included: New pedagogical methods Educational and technological innovation Management of Erasmus student follow-up Reception and integration system for international students Educational management and leadership structures 2. Second Mobility: Vocational School in Dunajská Streda (Slovakia) Participants: English teacher and Erasmus team member Erasmus coordinator Objectives of the mobility: This second mobility focused on the direct observation of the training activities carried out by students at the vocational school in Dunajská Streda. Specific goals included: Understanding how vocational training practical modules operate Learning about the role of students during real-world internships in companies and social institutions Exchanging experiences on how career guidance is managed Observing how competency development and continuous assessment are implemented Identifying potential joint projects for future student Erasmus mobilities Both mobilities have been key opportunities to further our goal of internationalizing the school, improving educational quality, and broadening the perspective of our teaching staff. Through this Erasmus+ project, we have: Gained firsthand knowledge of different teaching-learning and educational management models Implemented new ideas for methodological and technological innovation in our school Strengthened the support and guidance we provide to our Erasmus students, incorporating best practices observed in Milan and Dunajská Streda Promoted a valuable exchange of experiences for the improvement of vocational training Created new institutional links that may lead to future Erasmus projects and collaborations 3. Third Mobility: Seminar für Ausbildung und Fortbildung der Lehrkräfte Stuttgart (Berufliche Schulen), Germany Participant: English teacher Activities included: Participation in teacher training sessions Visits to various schools across the city Visits to institutions and companies where students carry out their internships These mobilities have served not only to enhance the professional competencies of the participants but also as a powerful lever for educational transformation within our institution. Our commitment is to continue working to share and apply the knowledge acquired, involving other members of the teaching staff and enriching our students' learning experience.
