The Centro Integrado de Formación Profesional de Lorca (CIFP Lorca) was established in September 2009. It teaches 3 Intermediate VET courses (two of them in face-to-face and distance learning) and 4 Higher Education courses, which allow us to participate in the Erasmus+ programme for Higher Education: Higher Technician in Health Documentation and Management and Higher Technician in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratories (face-to-face learning); Higher Technician in Oral Hygiene and Higher Technician in Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine (with both face-to-face and distance learning) The CIFP is part of the Lorca Campus (belonging to the University of Murcia) where several health degrees can be studied and with whom we cooperate in different activities. We also collaborate with the Chair of Gerontology of the Poncemar Foundation, the Rafael Méndez University Hospital, and other local, regional, and European health sector companies, where our students complete their training period and our staff learn and cooperate. In December 2019, the Regional Educational Administration included the CIFP Lorca in the Network of Centres of Excellence of the Region of Murcia, in January 2020, our Declaration of Strategic Objectives (Carta de Servicios) was approved, which we review each school year to update our training offer and commitments as a ‘Centro Integrado’. In addition, after the end of each academic year, we present to the regional council the report on the level of achievement of the stated commitments, for approval and publication. Due to the characteristics of our college (Centro Integrado) in which courses of a single professional field are studied, our institution is committed to quality, innovation and internationalisation. This is reflected in our institution's strategic documents, such as our ‘Carta de Servicios’, our Mission, Vision and Values Declaration, and our annual Functional Project. Consequently, our participation in the Erasmus+ programme through KA131 and KA121 projects is relevant to achieving the main strategic objectives of CIFP Lorca in the short, medium and long term. In this context, this is the 8th Erasmus+ Higher Education project we have managed since we started with them in 2012 and the 2nd developed within the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 programme after obtaining our 2nd ECHE. Therefore, by implementing this project we wanted to contribute to reach the objectives of our Erasmus+ Policy Statement for the 21-27 programme, contributing to achieve the strategic goals of the CIFP Lorca. To accomplish all this, within the scope of the management of this project we set ourselves the following specific objectives: - To consolidate our collaboration with homologous institutions and companies in the EU health sector with which we had already cooperated and, establish new contacts related to the courses studied in CIFP Lorca to increase the opportunities and quality of practical training of our students and staff. - To develop the participants' soft skills to overcome personal or socio-economic difficulties and to face new challenges with more initiative, autonomy and confidence. - To foster staff mobility to enhance their professional skills and contribute to improving the quality of the different processes of our school. - Share and disseminate the results obtained by each Erasmus+ mobility programme within and outside our institution, to demonstrate the importance of our European identity, our cultural heritage and our diversity. - To enrich participants' digital skills as part of their learning and working strategies and as a means to access relevant information. - To stimulate participants to play an active role in the good use and optimisation of resources contributing to sustainability and care for the environment. - To promote the use and consideration of foreign languages as a tool for personal and professional growth and a vehicle for collaboration and participation in exercising democracy, European citizenship and knowledge of other cultures. - To improve the quality and transparency of the project management in every aspect. - To increase the impact of the development and results of our Erasmus+ projects within and outside our institution. Although it was not possible to carry out all the planned mobility activities, we did achieve the main objectives set for this project, and its implementation has contributed significantly to the achievement of our overall objectives in relation to the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 programme and those set out in the main strategic documents of the CIFP Lorca.
