Objectives

The KA131 project for 2023 continues the line of previous projects developed by the center. It seeks to improve student employability through professional experiences under the Workplace Training module. Consequently, all student mobility has been carried out under the Long-Term Mobility for Internships modality. The goal is for these internships outside of Spain to provide additional skills compared to those carried out in companies in Cantabria: personal autonomy, improved multilingualism, and the discovery of other work approaches. Selection criteria have also sought to provide the opportunity to live this experience to students whose socioeconomic circumstances may be less favorable. Furthermore, and considering that our school welcomes students from rural areas and municipalities affected by the risk of depopulation, according to Orden PRE/1/2025, of January 2 (BOC No. 2), where European culture and citizenship may have a harder time taking root, the aim is to foster these values and enhance democratic participation in Europe. Regarding the teaching staff's job shadowing mobility programs, the goal is to ensure that the experience is beneficial both for the professional development of the participants and for improving the school's teaching-learning process. The experiences of these mobility programs should be highlighted by presenting them to the rest of the faculty and directly applying them in the classroom.
