With this project, our school aimed to offer real international training opportunities to students in Higher Vocational Education, thereby improving their professional preparation, language proficiency, and personal and cultural development. We also wanted to encourage student participation after the decline experienced during the pandemic, while promoting the European values of inclusion, sustainability, and active citizenship. At an institutional level, the project aimed to consolidate the improvements introduced following the evaluation of the previous project, especially regarding the standardisation of processes, the efficient and transparent management of funds, and the integration of mobilities into the school’s educational offer. In this regard, internships (FCT) in European companies have become a regular part of the curriculum, attracting new students interested in a vocational education with an international dimension. Although no funding was requested for staff mobilities in the previous call, four staff mobilities were carried out in this edition, representing a significant improvement and a clear step forward in our strategy for the internationalisation of teaching staff. These experiences have allowed teachers to broaden their professional perspective, establish connections with European organisations, and reinforce the school’s commitment to continuous improvement in educational quality through international training. Another key objective of the project was to maintain and strengthen relationships with partner companies across Europe, as well as to expand the network of host organisations in different countries. As a result, we have succeeded in diversifying destinations and enhancing opportunities for both students and staff in future calls. Overall, the project has contributed to the modernisation of our school, reinforcing its European strategy, management capacity, and commitment to high-quality vocational training.
