Objectives

Internationalisation is a key part of our centre's objectives, as reflected in its executive and annual plan since 2002. The Erasmus+ project 2023-1-ES01-KA131-HED-000123969 project is aligned with this strategy. As in other academic years, the aim of this project was to enable students to undertake work placements in companies abroad and staff members to receive training through job shadowing at a partner institution or company. During this last academic year, we have introduced the novelty of student mobility for internships with a virtual component, in line with the Erasmus+ programme's digitalisation strategy. These objectives have been achieved with this project. Similarly, thanks to this project, two international mobility programmes have been implemented. During this project, it has been possible for the first time to carry out an eco-friendly trip, both for the teachers who travelled to Morocco for their international mobility programme and for the students who travelled to the Netherlands for their mobility programme with a virtual component, promoting sustainability, another of the programme's objectives. The main recipients were students in Higher Vocational Training (2nd year) and staff at the centre. The objectives included providing students with the opportunity to undertake internships in high-quality European companies and training staff in European and international organisations, promoting collaboration and exchange between different institutions in different countries. Between 1 June 2023 and 31 July 2025, 20 mobility programmes were carried out (10 students and 10 teachers). The participants belong to the following courses: Production Programming in Mechanical Manufacturing, Physical Conditioning, IT, Industrial Processes and Analysis (Industrial Chemistry), Mechatronics, Thermal and Fluid Installation Maintenance, and Administration and Finance, as well as the Management department. The companies complied with pre-established quality standards and the implementation of the various mobilities has been very satisfactory. The assessment of work placements in companies with and without a virtual component was positive, highlighting improvements in social skills, digitalisation, personal and language skills, and employability. The "job shadowing" activities were very enriching for the participants, both in counterpart centres in Europe and for those who had the opportunity to undertake an international mobility programme.
