Objectives

One of the main objectives in developing this project was to offer our students the opportunity to experience a unique European mobility experience. It should be noted that we live in an outermost region, with an economy based on the service sector and tourism, which means that many families have a low socioeconomic profile and limited opportunities to leave the island. With this project, we wanted them to acquire language and digital skills, gain confidence in the European space, and expand their employment and training opportunities. For the teaching staff, we sought to update innovative methodologies, open avenues for collaboration with new institutions, allowing us to offer reciprocal opportunities with other destinations and companies that would host our students for internships, and contribute to strengthening the internationalization focus our school is committed to at different educational levels. Likewise, with this project, we aimed to consolidate ties with existing partners to carry out intermodular projects developed at the school across the various advanced training offerings. In short, we hoped that Erasmus+ 2023 would be the decisive boost to strengthen the European dimension, starting with higher education cycles, and using the Erasmus+ tool as a vehicle for inclusion and a guarantor of opportunities, innovation, and growth in our island and outermost environment.
