IES Al-Ándalus uses the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education as an instrument necessary to continue our work: give our students the opportunity of a training in other countries of Europe, and accomplish the educational mobility politics of the Andalucia regional government. One of our school main aims is to provide our students the opportunities to enhance their theoretical knowledge in a real working setting in a different country. Our students will carry out their mandatory internship period in European companies. Working and living abroad through several months is a very rich experience through personal, professional and academical levels. Not only their language skills are improved; they have to adapt themselves to different work environments, and serves to strengthen cultural ties through the different countries of the EU. The beneficiaries of this action are students of our Higher Education VET courses. According to credits recognition, the beneficiaries will obtain the Europass Mobility and the Advance Vocational Training Placement Record, which is an official evaluation tool to be used as a requirement in his assessment before getting their degree.
