The implementation of the project aimed to achieve the objectives set out in our ECHE Charter. Firstly, it sought to provide students with the opportunity to carry out their compulsory internships abroad, with the purpose of gaining professional experience in an international environment. At the same time, regarding staff, the project focused on fostering continuous learning, ensuring their upskilling in the latest competences and techniques within each professional field, in our case, Textile, Clothing and Leather, as well as Personal Image. Likewise, it aimed to enhance the quality and attractiveness of our Higher Education programmes, in order to increase both enrolment rates and the employability of our graduates. In addition, our institution is working to strengthen the international cooperation initiated in previous projects with other institutions within our sectors, with the goal of opening up new employment opportunities for students and offering staff access to continuous training in leading companies in the corresponding fields. Another key objective was to improve the foreign language competence of both students and staff, thereby fostering greater competitiveness, employability, and entrepreneurial skills among students. Finally, the project sought to reinforce European awareness and a sense of belonging within our institution. We want our outgoing students to understand that, despite the geographical distance, Europe represents a potential labour market governed by common regulations issued by the EU. Given our geographical location, it can sometimes be challenging to feel part of the European Union, which makes this objective particularly significant.
