As part of our internationalization strategy, we have always aimed to make the Erasmus programme a hallmark of IES Sierra de Guara, recognizable both in the city and throughout the province. All our projects are developed within this framework and with that goal in mind. Through these projects, we fund student mobilities for internships as part of their training in Higher Vocational Education programmes, as well as staff mobilities in the form of job shadowing. These actions contribute to the internationalization of our school, the development of language skills — particularly in English — among students and teachers, and help to increase students' motivation for technical and linguistic training in other countries. We also promote the responsible and educational use of digital tools as a key resource for the preparation, monitoring, and dissemination of mobilities, thereby supporting a more connected, up-to-date, and accessible education. Likewise, we work to integrate environmental awareness into our projects, fostering sustainability and encouraging responsible practices in both resource management and mobility planning. We firmly believe that these experiences support the personal and social development of our students, helping them become more well-rounded individuals, more aware of their relationship with the world around them, and better equipped to contribute to building a pluralistic and sustainable society.
