When carrying out this project, our main expectation was to promote the integration of students with their counterparts in other European Union countries, by offering them the opportunity to undertake internships in companies within the Building and Civil Works sector. Through these experiences, we sought to ensure that students came into contact with different professional realities, learned how to operate in international work environments, and understood other ways of working, organization, and business culture. In this way, students were not only able to develop technical skills related to their professional profile, but also to improve their social and linguistic abilities, foster an interest in learning foreign languages, and, above all, open themselves up to the European labor market, thereby significantly increasing their employability opportunities in a sector that increasingly demands mobility and international cooperation. For teachers, the project represented an opportunity to carry out visits to European counterpart centers and to establish synergies with educational institutions and companies in the field of construction and civil engineering. These visits were conceived as a space for the exchange of experiences and best practices, enabling teachers to enrich themselves professionally, update their knowledge, and improve their pedagogical and technical strategies. Furthermore, the creation of lasting contacts and collaboration networks with European partners was another key objective. These links not only strengthen the quality of teaching in our center, but also provide students with new opportunities for mobility and international internships, consolidating a stable framework of cooperation for the benefit of the entire educational community.
