IES Politècnic is a vocational training center with a technical-technological focus. The project was aimed at students from the center's advanced degree programs specializing in Robotics and Automation, Building - Civil Engineering - Electronics, Telecommunications, and Thermal Installation Maintenance, as well as their teachers. The project's objective was to allow our students from these programs to complete internships (3 months) in companies in European countries. In Mallorca's labor market, based on tourism and with a high percentage of international companies and clients, it is very important to improve our students' language skills and also to offer them the opportunity to work in companies, such as large companies or leading companies in innovation, due to the island's economic structure. This experience will improve their employability upon completion of their internships. With the project, we also wanted to offer ongoing teacher training through job shadowing periods in both companies and other educational centers to learn about their organizations and educational methodologies. We also wanted to gain insight into educational systems in different countries and motivate teachers to learn foreign languages, especially English. We also wanted to offer teacher training courses to expand their knowledge.
