Objectives

The Mid-Atlantic University, as its name suggests, is located in the Atlantic Ocean, at the crossroads between three continents. As a new institution, established in 2018, the University's goal is to open its doors to the world in order to implement the Erasmus programme, which only began in 2021. The main objective was for our students and staff to learn about the programme, travel to our partners in Europe and Africa, broaden their horizons, and put their knowledge into practice. For students, it was considered a great opportunity to improve their English, discover another culture, and learn about different teaching methods. For staff and lecturers, it was a way to develop each department of the university with a new perspective and take advantage of the opportunity to learn a great deal from institutions with more experience than ours. The objective was achieved in accordance with the international and internal strategies implemented to promote the programme and implement the mobility grants awarded. The main objective has been achieved, also taking into account the internal analysis of the quality surveys, where 100% of PDI/PAS would recommend the experience and 85% of students would also recommend it.
