Objectives

The Erasmus+ KA131 project implemented by Calasanz Santurtzi was designed with clear objectives, fully aligned with the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and the strategic priorities of Erasmus+ 2021–2027. Through student and staff mobility in higher education, the project was expected to achieve the following outcomes: For students: • Acquire academic and professional competences in an international context, linked to the recognition of ECTS credits and employability in European sectors. • Significantly improve linguistic competences, particularly in English as a working language and in other European languages, with progress measured through OLS and integration into multicultural teams. • Develop autonomy, resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving capacity in new environments, contributing to personal growth and professional maturity. • Foster interculturality and European citizenship, actively participating in the social and professional life of host countries and generating a more inclusive European identity. • Increase future employment opportunities by reinforcing their curriculum with an international experience highly valued by employers and institutions. For teaching and non-teaching staff: • Undertake training and job-shadowing periods in European companies and institutions related to their field, in order to update knowledge and strengthen professional competences. • Incorporate new pedagogical methodologies, digital tools, and innovative approaches observed in leading international centres. • Enhance academic management skills in a European context while improving language competences. • Broaden their professional networks, consolidating international collaborations and opening opportunities for future cooperation. For the institution (Calasanz Santurtzi): • Strengthen the internationalisation strategy of the centre, complementing active participation in KA2 projects, European VET networks (EFVET, INNOTECS, YES Forum), and close cooperation with Tknika in the ETHAZI model. • Improve academic quality through the exchange of good practices, academic recognition of mobilities, and structured cooperation with European companies and institutions. • Increase the visibility, prestige, and international attractiveness of Calasanz as an accredited Erasmus+ centre, contributing to positioning the Basque Country as a reference in educational innovation and international VET. • Reinforce the institutional commitment to inclusion, sustainability, and digitalisation by integrating these priorities into the design and implementation of the project.
