Our main objectives for the project are as follows: • To motivate students to complete the courses they are enrolled in by encouraging them and making them aware that education is very important for their successful adaptation to adult life and work. • To foster an entrepreneurial attitude in students, as business knowledge from other European countries can provide them with inspiring business opportunities. • To create cooperation links with companies in the EU, which will also allow us to assess whether the training provided in our education system equips our students to work in line with the demands of international markets. • Modernise the technical knowledge of our teachers in order to provide our students with quality education, as Europe needs professionals who are capable of facing new challenges. • Learn about different teaching and learning methods that are applied in other EU countries and that can enrich the teaching system at our centre. • Streamline the administrative procedures at our school related to our participation in the Erasmus Programme. • Establish stable connections with other educational or business centres. • Make responsible use of the funds allocated by the Erasmus Programme and seek other financial support to supplement the financial aid given to our students and staff. • Use ICT to strengthen communication with other higher education institutions and enhance cross-border cooperation. The specific objectives of our organisation with this project, which consists of enabling certain students from our organisation to undertake work placements in companies within the EU, are as follows: • Improve the quality and attractiveness of vocational training by preventing early dropouts. Vocational training places greater emphasis on practical skills, with the aim of improving the quality of teaching and making it more attractive for students who, having completed part of their compulsory education, choose to enter the labour market sooner. • Extending studies through work experience contributes to the priority of lifelong learning. • Greater cooperation between companies and students, so that the suitability of the teaching provided for the labour market, particularly the international market, can be assessed. The Erasmus Charter will contribute to cooperation between companies and vocational training students at our centre, in order to assess the applicability of the teaching received. • Promoting language learning and linguistic diversity. The idea will be reinforced that, as European citizens, we cannot be content with learning only our own language, but that understanding the customs, culture and working methods of other countries requires learning their language, so that the stay is as enriching as possible. • Encourage greater participation in the programme by people with special educational needs and those belonging to disadvantaged groups, as our institute specialises in catering for the former.
