The TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme Foundation, a public entity promoted by the Mataró City Council, manages both the university center and a technology park that integrates, in a balanced manner, business activity and higher education affiliated with Pompeu Fabra University. International outreach has always been a central axis of our institutional strategy, as reflected in the various strategic plans developed in recent years. In the course of this project, we have initiated the drafting of the first TecnoCampus Internationalization Plan. In this context, participation in the Erasmus+ programme, and specifically in KA131 projects, represents a key instrument to further our internationalization objectives. Its implementation seeks to foster intercultural interaction among students and staff, enrich knowledge of different educational systems, incorporate innovative teaching methodologies, enhance language competences, and strengthen teamwork in diverse environments. Moreover, these mobility initiatives generate synergies that go beyond the programme itself: they encourage collaborations that lead to joint research projects, shared training programmes, and other large-scale international initiatives, thereby reinforcing the global mission of TecnoCampus.
