Consolidating high-quality mobilities for both students and staff —whether long-term, short-term, or including BIPs— is one of our main objectives. We aim to contribute to the development of individuals with transversal, personal, social, and linguistic competences, capable of transforming the world through their own personal growth. A stronger international engagement significantly broadens students’ future professional and personal prospects. In today’s society, where young people often live in the “here and now,” an Erasmus experience offers them the opportunity to know themselves better, mature through action, and acquire essential skills to navigate the world around them. While they master theory in the classroom, it is the day-to-day practice in an international context that allows them to test themselves, overcome challenges, and face the difficulties life may present. An international stay helps them step out of their comfort zone, expand it progressively, and open up to new personal and professional challenges. Erasmus must become a tool to discover their capacity for autonomy and personal organisation, as well as to establish direct contact with their professional sector or with fellow students of their speciality from other countries. This provides them with a unique life experience, broadening their horizons and strengthening their awareness of European citizenship and sense of belonging to Europe.
