This project is another step towards strengthening our international dimension. Our internationalisation, together with our relationships with companies and technological adaptation, is one of the pillars on which we base the improvement of our services. In recent years, we have recovered our pre-pandemic activity in terms of the quantity and variety of mobility programmes, and with this project we have increased it. We wanted to strengthen our competence in order to take the next step, which is to implement international mobility programmes, perhaps starting with staff and continuing with students, and we believe that we are now in a position to embark on a new phase. As can be seen in our Internationalisation Plan, updated in 2023, in our Erasmus Policy and in our Quality Policy (Annexes I, II, III and IV), the strategy for developing our international dimension has been limited to a European dimension; after years of work in this area, we would like to expand it. Through this project, we wanted to transfer and strengthen the European perspective, and the values that the European Union represents, to our institution and our society, as without this perspective we would not be able to fully achieve our objectives. We also aimed to reinforce the objectives of the European Union, using technology and the skills of the educational community to promote transparency and objectivity, reduce resource consumption, guarantee equal opportunities and reduce the number of dropouts among our students. More specifically, we highlight the following actions: - Student mobility for internships is maintained and growing steadily. Although we had already had participants with fewer opportunities for economic reasons, this project also included a student with vision problems, whose experience has been excellent for her and for the company. Although progress is slow, we once again have a participant hired by the company in Italy after the mobility programme. - The incorporation of staff into the programme's mobility schemes is now definitive and interest is growing dramatically. We received nine applications for this project, 13 for 2024, and we are now about to open the call for applications for the 2025 project. - The project would also allow us to improve our network of partners and collaborators, as has been the case. Two new host companies in Italy, two new intermediaries, one in Italy and one in Slovenia, and an educational centre in Belgium have joined this project, in which our usual partners have also participated. - In addition, we wanted to strengthen and formalise our Erasmus+ Committee. Following this project, we have incorporated a new Erasmus coordinator.
