Objectives

The project was conceived as a tool for our students and teaching staff to broaden their educational and professional horizons through international experience. As a Higher School of Dramatic Art, we expected mobility not only to enrich academic paths but also to enhance artistic sensitivity, knowledge of different modes of stage creation, and the ability to engage in dialogue with diverse cultures. Our main goal was to enable students to complete part of their training in prestigious European institutions, where they could compare methodologies, theatrical approaches, and cultural contexts. We hoped that these experiences would serve as a stimulus for their artistic and personal growth, as well as a factor for professional insertion in a highly competitive field. In addition, we sought to provide teaching staff with opportunities for teaching and training stays, allowing them to renew pedagogical methods, establish cooperation with European colleagues, and share good practices. Through this, we aimed to improve the quality of our teaching and update our perspective on creative processes. Another key objective was to give greater international visibility to ESAD Sevilla, by strengthening already established bilateral agreements and opening new collaborations. We understand theatre as an art of encounter, and our vocation is to be an active part of this European network of exchange and cooperation. Finally, we expected the project to contribute to promoting the inclusion of all types of participants and to raising awareness of sustainability, encouraging the consideration of responsible means of transport whenever possible.
