Centre López Vicuña which belongs to the community of Religiosas Maria Inmaculada is located in Barcelona and offers cycles in Higher education for different fields: Sanitary, Community services and Commerce and Marketing. We are supporting actions for our students to gain knowledge and training in order to have better job opportunities in our country and abroad. We also promote actions for staff, teachers who want to take part in any of the proposals. IES López Vicuña is a post-compulsory education centre which offers high school, vocational training and higher education, and gives special attention to those in a disadvantaged situation. One of our most urgent actions is to prevent unemployment. and social marginalization. We are also aware of the need to train competent and digitally prepared students and for this reason we contemplate the opportunity to participate in projects that involve new tools and that help being more competitive. We promote the development of transversal skills and believe in promoting common European values for a more cohesive and inclusive society. We are convinced that our participation in the Erasmus+ programme can help us achieve these goals. Our main objectives and expected results are: • Improving students’ employability; • Improving knowledge and communication in foreign languages; • Improving personal and professional competences; • Promoting equal opportunities; • Bringing Europe closer and developing the sense of European citizenship; • Promoting teachers' participation in activities related to mobility and internationalisation; • Promoting new teaching methodologies; • Increasing the European projection of our school; • Expanding our international network; • Decreasing in dropouts and absenteeism.
