From ITM we consider Erasmus+ Projects an essential part of education. This is the reason why we have been carrying out mobilities (students as well as teachers)to different European countries for more than 20 years. By being trainees in workplaces abroad students get a much higher level of maturity and independence than staying in their home town; moreover, this enables them to live a unique experience. Regarding their career, this also means a competitive advantage their classmates lack. Living with others daily for two months in a country belonging to the European Union also helps them get to know different cultures, leaving their comfort zone and branching their horizons to a more global world. At the same time, teachers benefiting from these mobilities can also broaden their knowledge about various subjects, what they will later use in their classes; this way we get educational innovation. Finally, through these projects, our centre, ITM, can keep on making its international contacts net much bigger, a net made up by educational institutions and schools we will work closely with in future.
