Objectives

Our objectives as a consortium have been based on three main areas: 1. Improving the employability of participating students (VET HEI): including the digital improvement of administrative management processes along with the management of other more transversal tasks within administrative management, such as the management of the company's quality policies, general purchasing and sales management, logistics processes, etc. Not to mention: a) the acquisition of professional skills in a real-life context: practice in European production environments, applying the technical knowledge learned in the classroom in real-life work situations; learning methodologies and technologies, gaining access to international quality tools, procedures, and standards; professional flexibility, training them to adapt to different forms of work organization. b) development of transversal skills valued by the labor market; autonomy and problem-solving, learning to navigate new environments; international teamwork, acquiring skills to collaborate in diverse groups, which are highly sought after by companies. 2. Linguistic and foreign language development in relation to professional development: All participants have expressed a clear improvement in their English language skills. All of them have expressed to us in the evaluation meetings following their return the need to continue their English training, as they have realized they need this skill and need to improve. They substantially improve their professional communication in another language, increasing their linguistic competence, both oral and written, applied to work. 3. Improvement of students' social skills (essential at this time, much more than technical skills). These social skills are based on: a) Intercultural adaptation and communication: students learn to interact with people from different cultural and professional backgrounds; development of effective communication: they must adjust their verbal and nonverbal language to make themselves understood and understood by others; intercultural sensitivity: they acquire respect and tolerance for norms, values, and customs different from their own. b) Teamwork and collaboration: Integration into international teams, where they learn to collaborate with colleagues who have different work styles; diversity management, where they develop the ability to negotiate roles, resolve conflicts, and build consensus in diverse environments. c) Autonomy and personal confidence: Developing initiative, where they are in an unfamiliar environment, requires them to be proactive in resolving doubts or problems; Reinforcing self-confidence, where overcoming new situations in another language and context gives them confidence in their social skills; Resilience, where they learn to manage uncertainty and maintain positive relationships despite difficulties; Shared responsibility, where they assume collective commitments and experience the importance of cooperation to achieve common goals. The reason our consortium is committed to offering internship mobility to our higher-level vocational training students in the Management and Administration and Commercial fields is because we believe they deserve improved employability. We are not satisfied with simply providing "labor" without any experience, but rather human resources that can improve their working conditions and enable them to apply for quality job offers. To this end, we believe that international work placements enhance the future professional quality of our students, in addition to providing them with life experience that they may find difficult to repeat during their adult professional careers. We also want to highlight the increase in employability at the European level: the Erasmus+ program provides added value to their CVs, international experience prepares students to access job opportunities in different countries, and improves their reputation with employers. Companies value the Erasmus experience as an indicator of initiative, maturity, and open-mindedness.
