The University of Deusto, in line with its 2023–2026 Strategic Plan, seeks to confer an international character to the institution in a cross-cutting manner, making internationalization a central pillar. The implementation of the Erasmus+ KA131 – 2023 project has contributed significantly to the achievement of this objective, ensuring effective management and active participation by both students and academic and administrative staff. Through the mobilities carried out, the international profile of the institution has been strengthened, fostering a more global and diverse academic environment. The incorporation of international students into our classrooms has enriched the learning experience and encouraged intercultural interaction, a key element for the development of transversal competencies. At the same time, staff mobility has broadened cooperation with partner universities, enhanced teaching and research quality, and updated management processes. The results achieved show a positive impact in several dimensions. First, in student training, contributing to their overall development and future employability in a global labor market. Second, in the professional development of staff, who have strengthened their international skills and their participation in academic networks. Finally, in institutional positioning, through increased visibility within the European Higher Education Area and an expansion of opportunities for inter-institutional collaboration in the fields of education, research, and innovation. The University of Deusto regards the Erasmus+ programme as a strategic tool for internationalization, and the results of this edition consolidate that conviction. Consequently, Deusto plans to continue allocating the necessary human, organizational, and financial resources to ensure active, sustainable, and high-quality participation in future Erasmus+ projects, with the aim of reinforcing academic excellence, enhancing international projection, and equipping the university community with an interdisciplinary educational profile that responds to the demands of an interconnected and global world.
