Objectives

The main expected objective when implementing an international mobility project at the Institut Pere Martell in Tarragona is to strengthen the comprehensive training of students and teachers through educational, cultural, and professional experiences in European and international contexts, with the aim of enriching their personal and professional paths, improving the quality of teaching, and consolidating the institution’s projection as a benchmark in vocational, occupational, and continuing education. This objective is based on the mission and vision of the institution, which focuses on providing a quality educational service, committed to respect for people and the environment, equality of opportunities, justice, solidarity, and the culture of effort and continuous improvement. Participation in an international mobility project will allow students to: Acquire professional competences in real international work environments, broadening the practical dimension of their training. Improve their linguistic and communication skills, thus facilitating employability in an increasingly interconnected European labor market. Broaden their intercultural perspective, fostering respect for social, cultural, and labor differences, as well as integration in a global environment. International mobility for teachers entails: Improving teaching practices through observation and the exchange of pedagogical methodologies in foreign institutions and companies. Updating technical and technological knowledge in an international context, aligning the training provided at the institute with the real demands of the global labor market. Promoting collaboration and the creation of international networks that enable the development of future joint projects with institutions and companies from other countries. Enriching cultural and personal dimensions, reinforcing values of openness, participation, tolerance, and equal opportunities.
