Objectives

The main objective is to increase students' employability by acquiring professional skills aimed both at facilitating their entry into the workforce and promoting access to more qualified and better-paid job opportunities. Various companies, especially large corporations, positively value candidates who have completed vocational training internships abroad through an Erasmus Scholarship in their selection processes (such as major groups in the Galician automotive sector, Urovesa or Stellantis Vigo). The skills acquired by participants in Erasmus+ projects—such as problem-solving ability, facing new situations, or adapting to new social environments—are highly recognized by partner organizations. As a result of the 2023-KA131 project, most participating students have received job offers during their mobility stays, allowing for their permanent integration into companies after completing the corresponding Erasmus+ period. Another relevant objective has been improving language skills, both through pre-mobility training and practical experience gained during ten weeks spent in the destination country. Job offers to students in these countries highlight the high level of proficiency achieved in the working language. For the institution, it is essential to maintain and strengthen relationships with strategic partners (both schools and companies), as well as to establish new alliances that expand educational offerings and Erasmus projects. Consolidating these collaborations has an impact that goes beyond the 2023-KA-131 project, as students and staff jointly participate in initiatives such as KA-121 and KA-220, contributing to the continuity and expansion of Erasmus+ programs in the institution. Dissemination of these projects through social networks and personal recommendations has had a significant impact on younger students (those in Middle Cycle or early years of Higher Cycle), encouraging their participation in future KA-131 mobilities.
