Objectives

With this project, we tried to continue a series of projects that have been developed at our school in recent years with the aim of improving the quality of our learning. One of the main objectives has been the development of professional, personal, and social skills through mobility. We set ourselves the challenge of increasing participation compared to previous calls, something that we have achieved, even exceeding our expectations. We have gone from carrying out 5 mobility activities in the previous KA131 project to 14 mobilities carried out in this project, successfully completing 100% of the initially planned mobility activities, both for students to undertake internships in companies and for staff to undergo training. These internships were carried out by 10 of our Higher Vocational Training students, with the participation of students from six different vocational training courses, belonging to the following professional areas: Healthcare, Sociocultural and Community Services, Personal Image, Administration, and IT, so the impact on our school has been considerable. These students were able to validate the module: “On the job training” through the mobility activities they completed. The remaining four staff mobility projects, consisting of job shadowing in Vocational Training Centers or companies, have improved the professional skills of our teaching staff, also having a positive impact on our institution and improving the quality of the teaching we provide. Through all these activities, we also aimed to enable participants to compare work methodologies different from those developed in companies in our region, as well as the functioning of different vocational training education systems in other countries. Another objective was to enable the beneficiary students to discover new employment opportunities by acquiring different work methods and technical skills, while also improving their entrepreneurial initiative through mobility, which would allow them to develop new professions. Another of our expectations, which has also been met, has been to strengthen our international dimension by expanding our network of foreign partners. We have established cooperative relationships with eight companies in six different countries where the mobility programs have been carried out (two in Germany, two in Slovakia, two in Portugal, one in Latvia, and one in Belgium), as well as three counterpart vocational training centers (in Slovakia, Belgium, and Latvia). Furthermore, we have sought to promote eco-friendly travel for students, also for those with fewer opportunities and the development of digital skills among participants. We believe that all of our objectives have been fully met in all of the aforementioned aspects, exceeding our initial expectations.
