Objectives

The Erasmus project has been key to continuing to promote and foster, once again this year, the internationalization of the Catholic University of Valencia. Internationalization is one of the objectives and priorities of our 2023–2026 strategic plan, and the program enables us to continue providing our students and staff with the opportunity and the necessary tools to carry out mobilities at other institutions, thus contributing to their professional, academic, and personal development, to the improvement of their employability, and to the enhancement of their linguistic and intercultural competences, among other aspects. In addition, the project was expected to play a crucial role in strengthening our partnerships with collaborators, fostering academic, research, and training cooperation. These relationships help consolidate stable collaboration networks, broaden opportunities for educational innovation, curricular development and enrichment, and reinforce the international positioning of our institution. Finally, the project allows us to continue working on one of our main priorities: improving the quality of mobilities and the inclusion of our university community. It provides opportunities for all participants, whether through grants for those with fewer opportunities, short-term mobilities, or internationalization at home, thereby ensuring that everyone has the chance to internationalize their curriculum. This was a key objective when implementing and executing the project.
