The main objective of this project was, on the one hand, to expand the internationalisation opportunities for the professional careers of its participants, whether they were teachers, students or non-teaching staff, and, on the other hand, to complement the professional skills in their respective curricula and achieve good practices in all higher education cycles of the professional families at the educational school. At IES Sixto Marco, we always seek the greatest possible collaboration with our European partners in improving the professional skills of all our participants. We aim to comprehensively improve technical and practical knowledge through mobility programmes at host institutions and the adoption and respect of European values in the exchange of knowledge. The project draws on the objectives set out in the various teaching programmes for the training cycle subjects, as these outline the learning outcomes to be achieved by participants and serve as a guide in the teaching-learning process. Furthermore, the implementation of this project sought to provide opportunities for participation in European programmes to as many members of the educational centre as possible and to consolidate cooperation ties with European partners, resulting in innovative training and contributing to the implementation of cutting-edge methodologies that would help adapt teaching staff and students to the major socio-economic and employment challenges of the 21st century. The main aim of the project was for all professional families to commit to more digitalised, sustainable training, with a view to Europeanising in-company training and a clear commitment to greater inclusion of students in mobility programmes across all professional families at the school. The major challenges currently facing the labour market require IES Sixto Marco to strengthen the internationalisation of all its courses in its educational programmes, while at the same time allowing the reality of the world around us to enter the classroom in order to prepare participants for easy entry into the world of work and to give them access to the latest innovations in the various productive sectors. Greater employability under the best conditions for future professionals capable of tackling a more social, fair and solid Europe was one of the objectives to be achieved with this project and the mobility programmes to be carried out.The aim was for staff mobility, in addition to broadening the training of participants, to seek to open up new collaborations both in educational secondary schools that shared the same professional families as our educational school and in companies in the socio-economic sector where our students could carry out their company training. To train students for the real world and turn them into professionals who are guaranteed to acquire the professional, personal and social skills required for their degree, relating these as much as possible to preparation for training in companies in other countries, and emphasising the benefits of teamwork and the development of skills such as autonomy and initiative in decision-making when training takes place in companies outside your country. The project was a commitment by the educational teams to promote the value of language skills, and they always worked very hard to make the school community aware of the added value of participating in and offering Erasmus Higher Education projects. Our teachers are aware of the trend toward globalization in the economic sectors covered by our studies in general, and especially in our higher education programs. Professionals in the 21st century will need to be qualified and competitive, particularly in new information and communication technologies, and with language skills in different languages. The growing competitiveness in the business world demands professionals capable of carrying out their activities in a quality management environment, with an emphasis on the health and safety of workers, and respect for the environment. The organization of the mobility programs always sought to ensure that they took place in business environments that fostered critical thinking, analyzing company and human resources policies, while inviting participants to reflect on values such as democracy and peace in Europe, which are so important at this moment in history. Education and training systems must be more flexible, resilient, forward-looking, and attractive, reaching a more diverse group of students who are interested in internationalizing their professional careers.
