The project pursued a dual objective in line with the institution’s internationalization strategy (IES Virgen del Pilar). Firstly, it aimed to establish new contacts and partnerships with Higher Education and Training institutions in China and high-tech companies, in order to expand the network of strategic partners and create opportunities for academic and professional collaboration in a country that is a global reference in technological innovation. Secondly, the project focused on training teaching staff in the most advanced technologies for the manufacturing of electronic equipment. Since China holds a leading position worldwide in this sector, the mobility enabled teachers to update their knowledge, gain first-hand experience of cutting-edge processes and methodologies, and later transfer these competences to students and the institution’s training programs. Overall, the project contributed to strengthening the international projection of the institution and to enhancing the technological specialization of its teaching staff.
