Universidad de Sevilla has been an active participant in the Erasmus Programme since the latter’s very beginnings. In terms of student mobility, Universidad de Sevilla is one of Spain’s leading universities. This position is due to two factors: first through its informative campaigns, and through meetings with those in charge of mobility in its different Centres, the University has worked hard to encourage students to participate in the Erasmus programme. Secondly, the University has continuously sought to improve the quality of the management of the Programme itself. The goals outlined in the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and the funding agreement signed for the year 2023 have been met successfully. Mobility has continued to grow, despite economic inflation. In 2023, counting both study and internships, there was a total of 1.256 student mobilities compared with the 1.271 that took place during the previous project, and 293 staff mobilities, including teaching and training, compared with 86 mobilities during the previous project. In overall terms, these numbers represent a 14,14%. increase. It should also be noted that the academic performance of all students who participated in an Erasmus mobility was in line with what was planned in their learning agreements. As in previous years, the general satisfaction level of participants in all types of mobility remains very high, reaching a minimum of 94%, while in terms of outgoing teaching and support staff and incoming student internships, satisfaction reached 100%.
