Objectives

The Erasmus+ KA131-HED project at IES Alfonso VIII was designed with the main objective of promoting the internationalisation of the educational centre by offering mobility opportunities to students and teaching staff in the field of Higher Education. Through these mobilities, the aim was to improve students' employability through professional internships abroad, as well as to strengthen the pedagogical, linguistic and digital competences of teachers through training stays in European institutions. In addition, the project sought to consolidate a culture of openness, inclusion and sustainability within the school, in line with the priorities of the Erasmus+ programme. Participation in the project was expected to contribute to: -Promoting the personal and professional development of participants, including language, social and teamwork skills. -Establishing lasting links with European institutions to foster future collaborations. -Integrating international best practices into the teaching and management of the school. -Encouraging the use of digital tools in mobility management and teaching-learning processes. -Raising awareness within the educational community about the importance of cultural diversity, sustainability and civic engagement. Ultimately, the project was conceived as a strategic tool to improve the educational quality of the centre, strengthen its European dimension and offer transformative experiences to its participants.
