Context: Our school is located in La Línea de la Concepción, in the province of Cádiz, right on the border with Gibraltar. It is a region with high unemployment rates and well-known social and economic challenges at the national level, influenced both politically and economically by its border situation. In this context, our school works to provide young people with opportunities that allow them to grow professionally and motivate them to achieve personal fulfilment. Erasmus is an excellent alternative in this regard. Notably, during our recent mobility, out of the 5 participating students, 3 were hired by the companies where they completed their internships (FCT). We aimed to meet the following goals for our students: -Develop and apply knowledge in a culturally diverse environment. -Promote coexistence and respect for other cultures, fostering personal growth. -Improve language skills, particularly oral communication. -Use technology in an international setting. -Gain work experience for future employment. -Create job opportunities. -Complement training with internships in European companies. -Obtain the Europass Mobility document. -Promote European citizenship and tolerance. We also aimed to fulfil the broader objectives of the programme: -Maintain and update a database of European partner companies, enriched through years of cooperation and used for FCT placements. -Strengthen a working network with European partners. -Commit to academic improvement by enriching our educational offer.
