The IES Cap de Llevant is a secondary, high school and vocational training center located on the island of Menorca (Balearic Islands). It offers the following vocational training courses for higher education: Early Childhood Education, Social Integration, Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory, Hairdressing and Styling Management, and Teaching and Socio-Sports Animation. Regarding students, the project's initial objective was to offer the opportunity to pursue training in a European Union country. For Laboratory students, this opportunity meant avoiding having to wait for an internship vacancy to become available, a problem exacerbated by the lack of internship opportunities in Menorca. Furthermore, this opportunity was intended to enhance their opportunities to learn a second foreign language, providing a more than significant opportunity for their professional careers. Regarding the teaching staff, the following challenges were highlighted: (1) Introduce the teachers to the prestigious Waldkindergarten Flensburg methodology, with a special emphasis on contact with nature. (2) Conduct observational learning programs in laboratories with the triple objective of learning about other European education systems, learning new research techniques, and establishing agreements for future mobility.
