With the implementation of this Erasmus+ (KA131) project, the consortium formed by Altaviana and EFA Torrealedua set as its main objective to enrich the training of its students and teaching staff through international experiences that would strengthen both their technical competences and their personal development. In the case of Altaviana, the project focused on offering its higher-level students in hospitality and tourism the opportunity to carry out internships in European companies. The aim was for them to acquire specific skills in their professional areas, as well as transversal competences such as autonomy, adaptability, intercultural competence, and language improvement. In addition, the project sought to increase their employability in an increasingly international labor market, while advancing in strategic areas such as sustainability, digitalization, and innovation in hospitality and accommodation management. For its part, EFA Torrealedua focused on strengthening the school’s internationalization strategy, consolidating ties with European entities, and preparing the ground for future mobilities. Given its location in a rural environment and the diversity of its student body, Torrealedua adds value to the consortium by helping to ensure inclusion and equal opportunities in access to international experiences. Together, both institutions aimed to: * Promote students’ employability through work experiences in European environments. * Integrate principles of sustainability, digitalization, and new sector trends into vocational training. * Enhance the participants’ linguistic and intercultural competences. * Strengthen the international cooperation of both institutions and open new avenues for future collaboration. * Guarantee inclusion and facilitate access to mobility for students from rural backgrounds or with fewer opportunities.
