The main objective of the project is the internationalization of our institution, achieved through mobility activities for students, faculty, and staff. These mobilities aim to strengthen links with European institutions and companies, enabling participants to acquire professional, technical, and social competences connected to their field of study and to the cultural context of the host country. Through these experiences, students increase their opportunities to enter the European labor market by becoming known and valued by companies abroad. At the same time, faculty members enhance their teaching practice and establish new institutional relationships that contribute to the future development of the Escola d’Art d’Olot. Within this framework, the mobilities seek to provide opportunities to learn from other higher education institutions in the arts, to establish stable partnerships, and to foster the exchange of good academic and organizational practices. Another important aim has been to lay the groundwork for future joint projects with schools and universities of art and design, with the purpose of consolidating long-term collaboration and generating synergies in teaching, research, and international projection. Mobility activities also serve to build connections with innovative and inspiring European companies willing to host students for curricular internships and recent graduates. These placements guarantee high-quality professional experiences with strong prospects for labor market integration. In addition, mobilities have included training and observation activities related to BIP (Blended Intensive Programmes). This has allowed participants to understand their functioning, gain management experience, and prepare our institution for their future implementation. The institution has also opened its doors to international teachers and professionals through mobility exchanges. These visits have enabled the sharing of good practices in arts education and enriched both students and faculty. Participants in these mobilities also contribute by sharing their experiences on social media, giving visibility to the activities carried out and projecting the Escola d'Art d'Olot as a dynamic, innovative, and well-connected higher education institution in Europe. This collective effort reinforces our institutional image and demonstrates that education in design and visual arts in our country reaches a competitive level in the international context. The positive feedback from companies and institutions involved in the mobilities confirms the high level of training of both our students and faculty. Taken together, the objectives of these mobility activities reflect our strategic commitment to consolidating internationalization as one of the key priorities of the Escola d’Art d’Olot. In doing so, we expand opportunities for professional, academic, and personal development across our educational community and strengthen our presence within the European Higher Education Area in the arts sector.
