Objectives

The Mestre Mateo School of Art and Higher Design hosts an educational community of approximately 400 students and 50 teachers, distributed across 2 Higher Design Studies (Fashion and Product) and 3 Advanced Vocational Training programs (Artistic Jewelry, Sculptural Techniques, and Photography). We have been organizing mobilities under the Erasmus+ program for 13 years, with the main goal of facilitating and encouraging high-quality international mobility for our students, both for studies and internships, in order to improve their employability and promote internationalization within our continuous improvement process. For this, we have the Erasmus Charter. Additionally, continuing the trend of previous years, we work to increase internship mobilities by enhancing information provided to students about this option. To achieve this, we promote language learning and publicize available grants through our website and social media, as well as offering support from the International Office itself and involving other transversal departments in dissemination. In recent years, we have been trying to increase the number of incoming mobilities, with somewhat less success, mainly due to accommodation issues.
