Participation in the Erasmus+ KA171 programme is an integral part of the long-term strategy of the Istituto Europeo di Design (hereinafter IED) to modernise its educational offering and strengthen its European dimension, in line with the Erasmus Policy Statement. The IED aims to carry out this mobility project because of its relevance to its internationalisation strategy: the Erasmus+ Programme allows for unique encounters, experiences, cultural exchanges and long-term partnerships between the IED and third countries not associated with the Erasmus+ Programme thanks to Key Action 171, strengthening international cooperation, intercultural dialogue and global outreach. With this project, the IED has sought to offer participants the opportunity to gain cultural experience and acquire new knowledge in the field of design, promote improved employability, and increase social inclusion, civic engagement, innovation and long-term environmental sustainability, always under the principle of transparency within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.
